Kelsey Recht

ACCELERATOR

Kelsey Recht is an entrepreneurial executive with deep experience in the technology, hospitality and software space.

Mrs. Recht was most recently CEO/Founder of VenueBook, a B2B SaaS-enabled marketplace for discovering and booking event and meeting spaces.  VenueBook was acquired by Seated Technologies in 2020.  At VenueBook, she oversaw all business functions including strategy, business development, sales, operations, finance, product, marketing and fundraising.  Prior to VenueBook, Kelsey spent time in corporate strategy and development at Sears Holdings.  At Sears Holdings, she worked closely with the Sears executive team and ESL Investments the majority owner of Sears Holdings.   Before Sears Holdings, she was at Fidelity Investments where she was responsible for all stock research coverage of small to mid-sized industrial companies. 

She currently advises multiple startups and large institutions on technology, early stage investing and growth best practices. 

She has served as the Head of Finance for Minds Matter of Chicago an educational non-profit based in New York City. 

She holds a MBA from the Kellogg School of a Management at Northwestern University and a BA from Williams College.
