Jim Dougherty

Jim Dougherty has over 30 years experience as a leader in information technology. Some of his major roles have included: general manager of the internet division at Lotus Development, CEO of Prodigy Software, chairman and CEO of IntraLinks, executive vice president for global markets at Gartner, CEO of MetaMatrix, and operating partner at Great Hill Partners. Mr. Dougherty is an adjunct senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) in the Center for Geoeconomic Studies (CGS) and a long time board member of the Foreign Policy Association in New York. He has served on the boards of fifteen companies and not-for-profits. He currently sits on the board of the Bright Sprit Children’s Foundation in Boston. Mr. Dougherty received his undergraduate degree from Framingham State College and graduate degrees from Harvard University and Columbia University. He has been married to his wife, Janet, for thirty-two years, and has three grown children, James, Katherine, Megan, who live on three different continents.
